Andrew Alman is a former Arkansas law enforcement officer who spent years working in the rugged landscape of the Ozarks. Then he became a Psychology teacher. Drawing directly from real-world field experience, investigative protocol, and a deep-seated frustration with Hollywood’s inaccurate portrayal of police work, he writes unapologetically dark, gritty, and hyper-realistic crime procedurals.

When he isn’t meticulously plotting the cat-and-mouse games of The Campfire Murders series, he can be found brainstorming his next thriller or working on his sci-fi trilogies. He lives in Arkansas with his most dependable beta reader—his wife.
