The Izard County Incubus
About
Madness doesn't need a monster.
When a family is slaughtered in their farmhouse, the only survivor, a girl in bloody kitten pajamas, speaks of demons and gods. Detective Dakota Diaz takes the lead with retired Detective Hilrey Higgins as they return, this time, to Izard County to uncover the truth, but what they find is no ordinary killer.
As the case unravels, so does Dakota’s grip on reality. Every clue drags her deeper into a world where nightmares wear human faces laced with LSD, and salvation may demand the unthinkable.
The Izard County Incubus is a chilling Southern Gothic thriller. A descent into the blurred edge between science and sin. Perfect for fans of True Detective, Mindhunter, and The Outsider.

Praise for this book
Is it really wrong if it’s vigilante justice? And said victims are awful people? Well that can be determined by the reader. I enjoyed the continuation of this series, and was anxious to see what retired cop Hilrey & detective Dakota would be up to in book 2, especially after finding out in book 1 who the k!ller was. During the acts of vigilante justice, they stayed grounded & their motivations for such acts felt authentic. Fans of crime dramas that enjoy justice prevailing regardless of what the justice system says, will enjoy this series.
